DistantA Poem by Angie Diane♥♥....
We used to be so close,
Now we aren't. She used to tell me everything, But now we barely speak. Every time I see her, There is a faraway look, In her eyes. I try to ask her, What's on her mind. But she would only say, "I don't want to waste your time." I respond that she isn't wasting, Any of my time. She only walked away, Then a few days later, I received a letter, From her, She was thanking me, For being there, For her, I called her on the phone. But there was no answer. I left a voice mail, Then decided to head over to her house, I knocked on the door, Her mother answered and smiled, When she saw it was me. I went past her, What I saw made me scream, She was laying in a pool, Of her own blood. She had a note next to her. We were so close. But now she is gone, I can't be there for her ever again, I will miss you best friend. At the end she is at her friends funeral crying. She misses her...after she killed herself. Don't let your friend, Become distant, You may lose her, In the end. © 2010 Angie Diane♥♥Author's Note
