Tempt

Tempt

A Poem by Angie Diane♥♥
"

In response to Blade...

"
It's calling to me,
That blade again,
Tempting me to make a cut.
Before I know it,
I'm holding it against my skin.
Ready to make a cut.
I'm tempted to do it,
I get it ready,
Just in case I decide to do it.
I'm about to slash my wrist,
But I stop myself.
"Why are you doing this?"

Then I put the blade down,
Once more,
But I look at it again,
It's calling me,
Tempting me,
By the end,
I made the cut.
"Why did you do this?"

I watched the blood,
Pour out of my skin,
I just kept watching,
And eventually,
I got worn out,
And wiped it up.

I threw the blade out the window,
Before I killed myself with it,
Before it tempted me,
To make one more cut.
