Mended

One of my happiest poems to date... 3/24/11 Written in two minutes in class. :)

Mended,

My heart was mended,

And I’ve never been happier,

The scars are gone,

My smile has returned,

Now my heart is mended,

I’m better,

And it won’t change,

Because I want to be happy,

I’m glad my heart has been mended.

I hope it’s never destroyed again.

Sadly havibg ur heart broken is a part of life, and we always risk it when we love someone. :(But great peom, it's true none of us likes to get hurt,but it's all in the matter of learning who to trust our feelings with. Great write! :)
