I know we have been having problems,
A lot of problems,
But the thing is,
Honey, it's your fault,
You started this,
And you haven't stopped,
I know you say you love me,
But I didn't start this war,
You did.


So honey,
Start to realize,
It's not me,
It's you.


It's hard to be going to through this,
But you started this war,
And I'm going to finish it,
And you just need to accept it,
I think it's time we split up,
Because I'm done.

I know you blame me for this,
But what did I do to you?
I have done nothing,
But love and cherish you,
But you don't love and cherish me back.

And then maybe,
We will start to work,
Everything out.

I love the use of the word "honey" throughout the poem. it gives the piece a bittersweet tone.
