Bullying Speech-Introduction

This is the introduction to my speech on bullying. I will add all the parts I have.

       Have you ever heard of the book Nineteen Minutes? Do you know what the story is about? Well Peter Houghton, from a young age was picked on and beaten by his peers. He was called gay, geek, and some other inappropriate things, he was "pants" in from of his whole class while he was in lunch and he was hurt phyiscally by everyobe. His only friend betrayed his trust as she became a popular student. Later, after all these instances occured, he went crazy from post traumatic stress and shot the people that had hurt him. Thirteen year old, Jon Carmichael of Joshua, Texas hung himself because of everything that was happening in his life. But John isn't the only victim of this treatment to take his life. Fifteen year old, Phoebe Prince hung herself and was found in her closet. Thirteen year old, Megan Meier hung herself and was found in her closet. Eleven year old, Jaheem Herrera hung himself as well. Seventeen year old, Alexis Pilkington killed herself on March 21, 2010. Eleven year old, Carl Joesph Walker-Hoover was found hanging from an extension cord. Ninteen year old, Rosimeri Boxall was run off the side of the building by two girls. Eighteen year old, Lee Simpson hung himself after everyone found out he was gay and was taunted him for it. Bullying has become a growing problem between many people and must stop. The lives of these innocent people should not have been lost.
