...Oh breakups...

You watched as,

I walked out of your life,

But you didn't try to stop me.

You knew why I was leaving.

And you know you couldn't stop me,

From leaving you anyway,

You cried,

But I refused to look back,

I couldn't look you in the eye,

Anymore because of everything,

Everything we were going through,

Everythign you didn't want to happen,

But it did,

And you knew I couldn't stay,

"Please stay with me."

You pleaded,

But I made up my mind,

And I left you anyway.

I wrote this based off a break up and the weird thing was it sort of went down like this too....
