I wrote this on my phone last night...

Have I ever told you,

How pretty I think you are?

That every time I look at you,

I see the beauty within you.

 

But what do you see when you look ay me?

Do you see beauty?

Or do you see pain?

 

What is written on my battered face?

Happiness?

Sadness?

Guilt?

 

What I see on you,

Is your beauty.

But with me,

All you see are scars.

 

Scars that have been placed there.

But not only from myself,

But by others that have hurt me.

 

Have I ever told you how beautiful you are?

And the beauteous glow on your face.

Please look in the mirror,

And you will see who is beautiful.
