Who do you believe is there for you?

Is it your parent?

Your sibling?

Your friend?

 

Who is really there for you?

Someone who knows you,

But will never understand you,

And never try.

 

Who do you want there for you?

A friend you can tell everything to?

Or a person who knows you well,

But doesn’t take the time to understand.

 

Who is really there for you,

Outside of your family?

Outside of your home?

Outside of all your friendships?

 

Or are you only there for yourself,

Because you are the only person,

Who understands you,

When no one else can.
