Shanda Sharer,

A twelve year old girl,

Lost by jealousy from another girl,

Shanda,

I really wish I could have met you,

You seemed like a beautiful person.

Shanda,

If I was alive when this happened,

I would have tried to prevent it.

Shanda,

I wish for harsher punishments,

For the girls that tortured you.

I pray that your mother,

Gets the ring that was stolen from you.

Your life was cut short,

But it was tragically lost.

With help from other people,

I will fight for justice for you.

I watched a story about her on Dr. Phil and it was really sad. Just a senseless tragedy. This poem brings out a great message about it.

It's a free verse poem. It is dedicated to the little lost girl. I wrote it as a poem because that's what it is supposed to be...so you can say it's not poetry...but in my eyes it is..because it's free verse.

I remember watching this on TV with eyes dewey and mouth agape. What girl thinks she has the right to do such a thing? It's horrible, and those others girls had a chance to make things right and they simply refused. I think I've learned today how girls think and how they feel like what they want is whats right, but when you're going to hurt someone over it, it's not worth doing. A very sad write and I'm sure you would have done something to make it stop or to make it never happen.
