Haunting

Haunting

A Poem by Angie Diane♥♥

The only thing I see,
Is you in my dreams,
Haunting me...

I see you're death,
From hanging,
In my nightmares.

You're eyes are red,
From crying for so long,
Right before you hung yourself.

Every time,
I rest my head,
You're there.

My heart is pounding,
In my chest,
Which causes me to stop sleeping.

Please stop haunting me,
I miss you,
But I don't want to be haunted.

Please leave me alone,
I don't want these memories,
Or scars.

Have known this poems pain and think of her frequently though not in meloncholy as that would belittle her smile. To pen ones pain is always hard but here you framed and hung it with words for all to read.
Keep em' coming

I do not know the pain felt of dealing with suicide but when reading this I could feel a lot of emotion. I am sorry that you have such sad memories of your friend and I hope things get better. This was a very deep poem and well written.

Living with the knowledge of a suicide is awful. I cannot say I know how you feel, as I dont, but this is so well penned that I caught of glimpse of the pain. Pray for the soul of your lost friend as best you can, and I bet that these images will go away eventually.
