Epilogue

                Alex was standing outside by his car. He had a nervous look on his face. He was a little anxious and everything. I walked over to him and put my arms around his back. That normally calmed him down. I was glad that I was able to calm him down.

                “Honey, you seem so stressed out. Are you okay?”

                “I’m just fine. I do have a big thing to ask you. I’m a little nervous about your answer.” He said. I was worried about what he had to ask me. I couldn’t think of anything because I was focused on him! Alex pulled a box out of his pocket. He opened the box up and there was a beautiful diamond ring. Alex got on one knee.

                I was shocked and tears were starting to run down my face. “Aubrey, will you marry me?”

                “YES!” I said as soon as he asked. I was crying harder than I ever have in my life. I was so happy that I was going to be getting married to the man of my dreams! I was shocked that he even wanted to marry me! I was starting to freak out. I jumped into his arms. I kissed him so forcefully he was shocked. I was so happy!

                I sent texts to all my friends. They weren’t going to believe what Alex just asked me. I couldn’t even believe that someone like me has met the best guy in my life. I sent a text to Nicole first because she was my best friend. Alex was driving me home. I was crying so hard.

                “I’m so glad you chose to marry me. I am so happy to be with you, Aubrey. You have made me so happy. You’re the first girl that has ever made me happy. You were the first girl that made me cry when you cried. You made me smile when you smile. You are just amazing, babe.” He said and kissed me on the cheek. We pulled into my driveway and he was kissing me more passionately on the lips.

                Nicole sent me a message back a couple of minutes later. “ARE YOU SERIOUS?!”

                “YES, I AM!” I sent back.

                “You’re telling people aren’t you?”

                “Yes, honey, I am!” I said in a hyper tone. We finally got out of the car. I ran into my house. I was so happy to be home. I was so happy that I could tell Mason that I was getting married. I don’t care what my parents thought. I know we are young, but I know that we aren’t getting married until we are out of high school. I actually told my parents around dinner time.

                “Mom, Dad, I have to tell you something really important.” Mason smiled when I said that.

                “What is it, dear?” My mother asked. She could tell that I was really happy all day. I knew like it seemed I was floating on air all day!

                “Alex proposed to me!” I said with happiness in my tone. My parents dropped their forks on the table and were in shock! “We aren’t getting married right away. We are going to wait until we graduate from high school. I am so happy that he chose me.” I said in excitement. My parents seemed to be happy with what I just told them. I knew they liked Alex.

                “I’m happy for you, sweetie. Just promise me on thing.” My father said.

                “What is it?”

                “Don’t ever stop being my little girl.” He said with tears in his eyes. My father didn’t want me to grow up. I am his little girl. I was getting older and he knew I couldn’t be with him all the time.

                “I promise. You will still see me every day! I am not moving out anytime soon!” I said. My dad was just really excited because he knew how happy I was. I was glad that my parents understood my happiness. For the rest of the night we discussed the day. We discussed what we were going to do. I was just floating on air the whole time.

I KNEW IT!!! I KNEWWW IT!!!!

Wow, what a thrill ride!! The action, the drama, the sadness, the romance, the story itself!! It was an incredible, heart felt adventure and it was tied together with the best possible ribbon!
