Keep It To Yourself

This is how it starts. This is how it ends.

If you have nothing nice to say,
Keep it to yourself,
That's how people get hurt,
That's how rumors start,
Words hurt people,
You should help them instead of hurt them,
But instead you pick on them,
Because you don't want to help.

If you have nothing nice to say,
Keep it to yourself,
It's your fault if you make a person feel,
Depressed,
Suicidal,
And worthless,
Words hurt,
And it will come back to bite you.

Keep it to yourself,
Don't even be negative,
Say something positive to the person, If you have nothing nice to say,
Keep it to yourself,
Don't let other's hear.

Author's Note

People in this world make living impossible for others. Seriously this is the oldest saying in the book. You are what is causing suicide. So just shut your mouth for once and then lives will be saved. Seriously.

I liked the purpose of this poem and i agree with it. So many people are unstable with their emotions and could really be affected by something negative said to them. If everyone was nice no one could be hurt. Anyway great poem and great meaning for it.
