Apple

A poem that just takes a little different approach on the classic. It has some many different meanings and most of them are probably to hidden to be found. As always hope for the best and remember "an apple a day keep the doctor away."

Like an Apple
Dreading tomorrow..
Nothing left in life..
Rushing into nothingness..
Like an apple...
Living for the bottle..
Drowning Misery...
This cider is a hormone affect...
Like a misbalance af acidic hate..
Raining down..
On a conveyer belt..
About to be juiced...
Could have been an apple tree...

Yeah.. I know it isn't the best... Do you even think it makes sense? Any comments?

Once again, I'm a little lost. I got a bit distracted by your use of ellipses, particularly the incomplete ones. Is there any significance to that? I suppose I get hung up on the fact that I always think of an apple as a pure and complete fruit; the whole idea of rot and ruin never comes into my mind. It makes for a very interesting comparison, however, and one that I certainly didn't expect. It does make me feel a little sorry for the poor apple, though - waiting to be juiced or turned into cider and never getting to be that majestic tree like its ancestors. Clearly you are a remarkable poet, to have me sympathizing with fruit!

Could of been an apple tree...(I know it's a dialect thing but "could have been...." would sound better

Yeah, most of us never reach our full potential because we are cut short by marriage, pregnancy, work, etc-hope you never get into a rut like that poor apple
