Weekend Senryu

Just an attempt at a new form of poetry that I learned of today.

Weekends pass quickly,

Time passes slowly at work,

Leisure speeds up time,

How can you do it right the first time, Eddie? Hahaha. I super like this one. Makes me think how dawn quickly arrives when I'm writing poems... Again, I'm impressed and pleased that you are experimenting with new forms.

Thanks, Blue, I went to Wikipedia and looked up Senryu after reading your work and it confused me more than I was before, but after that one person explained what it was, on your page, I gave it a try. It is a neat format, but I am not of the poetic mindset, so I will probably just go back to writing fantasy.

Yes, it's a neat format but challenging. The limits of the structure do not allow me a more comfortable expression. But you did a really good job on this. You may not have a poetic mindset (yet!) but you seem to have a potential for it. :)
