EmpathyA Poem by Eddie DavisShared suffering makes it easier to bear.
There is little I can do, Except perhaps hurt with you,
Empathy in some small way, When there are no words to say,
It may offer slight relief, To know someone shares your grief,
When we are joined in feeling, You’ll find your heart starts healing,
Healing for the heart that’s torn, Comfort for all those who mourn,
Hope that mending will begin, And some day you’ll smile again © 2014 Eddie DavisReviews
