Thought of you today.

Just some dark feelings i had to get out.

Once I watched my world come undone,

buttons popped and seams ripped.

 Blood from my fingertips did drip,

lights faded and hope was lost.

 what sort of thing came at such a high cost.

 

Twas not riches unimaginable nor glorious sights unseen.

 It was small sometimes easy to miss,

 it was the memory of our first kiss. 

It shone like a star and cut like a knife,

 the happy and sad memory

 the beginning of our 

and end of my life.
