So dreams the dreamer of love and light, of a hazy world bereft of night, of soothing music, reciprocate peace, a world away, a tension release. real life cataclysmic events, no hopeful fantasy prevents. dreams marginalize psycho-trauma, and denigrate effects of drama. serenity alleviates pain, while myopic alternatives contain. we accost our wanton fears, and risk awakening tears. we hesitate to leave our dreams, that cloudy world of silver moonbeams. imperceptive of hidden meaning some encouraging some demeaning we concatenate painful events unable to touch what prevents an easy lucid understanding when to consciousness we are landing
