we read each other’s minds that time we tripped

acid and dressed up like Pocahontas and Alice

in Wonderland because hey why the f**k not

 

when even Pink Floyd hurt our ears

and the only thing that didn’t was the music

we made so I played Rachmaninoff on the piano

 

with the missing keys that we got from goodwill

and you got out a blank canvas and painted
