1 day or day 1, no reason to worry Our memories transformed into a love story Complete ignorance by a guy so charming until summer came and he started loving June 19th 2024, first hangout When he asked me, I almost passed out “Why would he want to spend time with me?” That is an unforgettable day, about it I still dream A walk on the beach, eating ice cream Felt like a walk on Heaven with him A drop of pistachio ice cream on his white T-shirt fell We laughed and everything went well That look in his eyes when I looked away and back Made me think “Maybe our love isn’t worth only a buck” Sitting on the bench, casually talking Meanwhile, my mind would not stop adoring His starry eyes, his gorgeous smile His kind heart, his lovely style His amazing humour, could never stop laughing Would gladly stay and listen to his jokes till 4 in the morning This true feeling of love I felt Will be something I’ll say I’ve always kept In my heart that shattered into a million pieces When I walked away and he gave other girls kisses

Author's Note

Finally posting a poem after a long time, I am so sorry for taking so long! I was supposed to post the story/short book I am writing today but I haven't finished it yet so I decided to search my files and see if I had any unfinished poems I could post and I found this one! Its original name was "Love's truth" but I made the necessary changes so here is "Other Kisses". I hope you love this poem and I really hope you are excited for my short book/story, it's about Chandler, the guy I am talking about in most of my work if you haven't already noticed :D And by the way, it's going to be kind of like a diary, that's all I am saying stay tuned! <3

Indeed, a day can have such a powerful and lasting impact. This guy Chandler, must have dominated your mind; over the months which followed? Both in terms of, your thoughts and feelings.

In the final line, you actually walked away. It would have been brave to do so, if you did not feel ready to take the relationship further. After all, it can be difficult for a woman to think clearly; when enraptured by passion.

Even now, I would understand if you still hold feelings for him.

I made those last few lines so general because I wanted them to still be relatable to the reader, in my version it meant that I "walked away" for only a little bit and he immediately ran to other girls, basically he couldn't wait for me. Everything will make a little more sense once I post the story I was talking about in my note in which are my thoughts from those following months. (replying to Twilight) I absolutely did, when I first started writing this poem, because as I said in my note this poem was left unfinished, the hangout had only happened a few weeks earlier. However, those kisses with the other girls hadn't happened yet, or at least I didn't know about them yet so I still felt loved and I put my heart into the poem, I just didn't post it. Around a year later I now finished it with an ending I wouldn't ever expect but my feelings haven't changed fully yet. He was the first ever boy to make me feel loved so it will probably stay with me my whole life!
