GOD'S LOVE WILL LIFT YOU

 

 

God’s love will lift you when you're stuck in the world's mire
It will shelter and protect you from the heat of hatred's fires
It will never leave you alone; it will be your guiding pillar of light
A focal point in the raging storm; a shining star in a soulless night
God's mercy is ever precious and his love is forever pure
It will give you spiritual power and the courage to endure
So let his love lift your spirit and everyday move you higher
Let it take you away from hate and hoist you out of damnations fire
Let him draw up everything inside you; that he finds to be wrong
Let him guide you with his grace and give you the strength to carry on
