TRANSFORMED

We are transformed by the renewal of our mind

Today is my time to renovate
It is time to renew and be transformed
The moment to revitalize my spent patience
I need to forgive last years past wrongs

This is the day of my restoration
Purpose is reinvigorated and I am strong
I pushed the reset button on life's challenges
I am open to any blessings that come along

My reforestation will not be easy
Last year burned my hope to the ground
Yet, I have planted new seeds in my faith
This year my trees of hope will abound

Yes, today I claim my regeneration
The recommencement of all my goals
I will be transmogrified into a higher being
Because I will allow God to transform my soul

I have not written poetry in a few weeks but God gave me this little poem. It is my first one of the year. I share it on this New Years day. We are transformed by the renewal of our mind. I pray you are transformed this year and share this poem with others. Happy New Year!

Thank you Rita. I had a hard beginning of the holidays. I lost my granddad who was like a father to me. I am still struggling to get past that loss but ii am persuaded that things will only get better over time. Happy New Year and many blessings to you and your family.
