THE LIGHT

There is hope - from the darkness whe we see even the tiniest glimmer of light.

                            

                           THE LIGHT

Look beyond entrapment, composure in pain...

See the 'light' that will lead to where the grass grows greener, 

birds sing a sweeter melody ~ it goes with the grain!

Fate sometimes plays tricks on us by offering seemingly

greater things, only to have them cruelly snatched away.

We see the 'light' when certain temptations are put in our path

       and they are made real by a truer reality.

What is existence without something to believe in, 

                    something to hope for?

Where is that 'light' that will show us the way ~~~

                  to an idylic or better tomorrow?

Where is the joy in a euphoria that will only be transitory?

'Enjoy it while you can!' you'd say but does accepting this 

           make of you a better or a bitter man?
