No competition there!

She won fair and square.

As a novice, she entered the race

in a bet ~ she had to save face.

As a challenger, the odds were stacked

She owned the best chasis on track!

The course was long and tough

Of teasing - she had had enough.

Competition grew stiff ~ was up against the best!

Endurance and gaul was put to test.

Many pitfalls along the way

Much critique - much too much, you'd say!

She clung on tight, with all her might

           and did it her way!

I am a formula one fan kitty, so I got this straight away. Also a huge admirer of Lewis Hamilton. I will certainly get up in the night to watch him. This is a clever write and playful. I enjoyed the fun. All good wishes

I really enjoyed this. It can be taken a couple of different ways and leaves me wondering, who's engine was racing harder when they reached the finish line?

The competitive lady I'd say ~ only because I am 'Woman' with a competitive streak but thinking of the competitor I'd say ~ on par as they both enjoyed the ride! A patrnership works ~ most time where there is give and take!
