WINTERS SUN

On a lazy winters day one has to be appreciative of all the good things that comes our way.

                 WINTERS SUN

Rippling, lazy waters mesmerize me

Sunshine skims upon its peaceful top.

Keenest bikers on the move

anxious joggers in the groove!

Skies of blue ~ just over you

silence in the warmth of fading dew.

Sounds of motors ever on the go

warmest day at seaside on show.

Pairs of couples hand in hand

Isn't life sweet ~ just grand?!

Channel breezes hit the faces

of 'Straw woman and Straw man'

who have survived harsh days and nights

of driven snow and watched passersby as they go.

They await the warmest feel of sunshine on windswept

faces ~ a kind replacement for them I know.
