ZenA Poem by Heidi AlfonzoAn ode to serenity
I breathe the immensity of silence; A space where sunlight is a mist. My hand touches my heart And puts it to sleep. I breathe and my eyes guide me. My soul takes flight To an unknown dimension, High, very high, beyond the stratosphere. Peace is a wondrous thing, The eighth marvel of the world. I breathe the aroma of cherry blossoms And water lilies. I am taking a journey within myself, Absorbing every candid atom of life. I breathe so calmly... In... Out... It is a voyage to infinity. © 2009 Heidi Alfonzo |
