My Shadow

 

I never liked him like that -seriously-

I still don't.

But when I saw that?

 My heart started racing and I thought,

"What the hell?"

It was like he was mine.

Dorky, wierd,

who would never ever

Get a girlfriend.

Ever.

I KNEW he liked me.

Followed me around like a puppy,

Like he was my shadow.

Remembered every word I said.

Texted me constantly,

Including during confirmation 

while the pastor watched!

I never liked him-

Still don't.

So why do I care at all?

We never know what makes something get and sometimes keep our attentions. like the song we hate but can't stop humming to ourselves, or the person of strange appearance we just can't stop staring at. I think we all know someone that fits into this category. :)

Well, your feeling is the feeling of regret that someone who has been following you around and really admiring you is gone. The person has redirected everything he feels for you to another person, and inside that just hurts you.
