Can’t help but think about you

Even though I know I shouldn’t

So stupidly in love with you

Although I feel it’s hopeless

Reminded daily that you’re still around

 

…And still I’m

 

Left on my own with

Only glimpses of you

Playfully dropped here and there

Eventually this beaten heart won’t care that I'm

Zoned out at the thought of forgetting so soon
