The Day's DuskA Story by Emily RoseA short passage inspired by the beauty of sunset.
As the sun descends behind the rolling hills in the distance, its last rays cling to the edges of the clouds, casting the sky in a bittersweet glow. The end of the day has arrived, but the colours painting the sky send a message: there is beauty in existence, beyond our last glimpse of light - of life. The pastel gradients are the sun's efforts to be remembered - to remind us that though the day is done, tomorrow more opportunities shall come. For those wholly present in the last minutes of dying light, they are reminded. To endure the challenges of the succeeding day with hope grasping onto the memories of the beauty today.
