It is not our timeA Poem by MaryPSometimes I find myself wondering Will it hurt? Will it be cold? Will you know that you’re dying? Or will it just be a dream, Perhaps nightmare is more fitting. I am only young. I should not be preoccupied with Thoughts such as these If there is any justice you will have years. So much time to wonder and suppose But then again there is little justice Instead we have corruption hatred cruelty I find myself considering death as a relief Rather than a punishment. But do not be too hasty We are not looking for relief nor punishment We have unfinished business on Earth So whichever force decides Who lives or who dies Listen when I say It is not our time, It is not our time. © 2010 MaryPReviews
