My lover's note

At Night, on our bed,

You roll over in your sleepy eyes

As usual about to hug me;

One of your legs on mine

And one of your arms on my shoulder

You then remember immediately

That we are not on speaking terms

And removed them like lightening

Hahahaha! the speed in which you did it

Is compared to that of lightening.

Author's Note

:) Please laugh with me. I and the love of my life had a small lovers tiff. I couldn't sleep because of it. When i finally fell asleep, i almost pinched myself with what happened when i opened my eyes. I then thank God he was fast asleep and didn't notice. Later that day, together in a meeting. He wrote a note to me. I couldn't help laughing and feeling embarrassed. I used the note as the poem. Word for word. No change.

Yeah, both of us are sooooo good now. We are more relaxed and understand ourselves better. He doesn't agree he is a poet. He said he is just being sweet. *Whispering*.. "I don't believe him"
