Death of a Season

As the seasons pass

Spring into summer, summer into fall

Slowly the green fades

The life which was there is no longer

Long days grow cold

This death is a beautiful one

I think I might add a line or two about the transition from Summer to Autumn, but I'm not sure. Let me know what you think.
