Hope Underground

Hope Underground

A Poem by Emily Robinson

Hear the floor creak
No one speaks
The seriousness of this, leaves me weak
Like a crack in the window of the dark underground,
I was screaming for daylight, with angels already around

Hear the heavy breath
No one move
The silence of this time, leaves me in want
But like the softest of whispers comes hope underground
I was crying for rescue, but was already found
