The Phantom MemoryA Poem by emipoemiShe wanders lonely as a cloud With gliding steps of silent grace, Wrapped in a thick and murky shroud Of mist that seldom marks her trace.
Serene and fitted to embrace Was she throughout those temperate times- For her time walked with leisured pace; For her bells rang with saintly chimes.
My heart leapt up when I beheld The shining shimmers in her eyes; The auric aura that dispelled Uneasy feelings on the rise.
She’s now a phantom of delight Discreetly wafting through my mind- A shadow swathed in black and white, A daffodil long left behind. -EDP © 2020 emipoemiReviews
