once upon a birthday

there whispers a predawn prayer

as tiny Bart Ralph readies for his

birthday's due rainbow

Fol, a lone wolf, marks his territory

with a new designation: to share 

life's adventure with Man

rain dares tease dawn, buds bloom, 

grass sniffs the air glistening, Gaia 

sings to near sleeping Sirius, dipping

diamonds drip, raising blackbird's riff,

blue sounds set to wings sky high,

lyrics in arrowed formation 

voices call, tunnel clears, comes joy 

an' wonder slipping from one place to

another, rapt are the moments  

dawn ends its dream as Fol's mark

magics a tactile rainbow for boy

i want to know more about Bart Ralph and Fol ... and their relationship ... how they came to be together ... love the "..grass sniffs air .. " instead of Fol .. brilliant says i! Beauregard thinks his mark is more powerful than it is .. on our walks he usually unloads at the first two stops .. he does a "squat/leg lift" kind of thing as he is neutered and has that part forever in confusion it seems .. but it his norm for him .. no rainbows bestowed on little boys .. but many other gifts for his master. ;) i like the simplicity of this one's train of thought .. it is minimalism but tells a big story .. doesn't need any more details but sparks my wanting more .. thanks always for sharing dear friend
