Regrets are the cancer that eats at our soul leaving us too weak to accomplish what we could do today and more regrets tomorrow. Turn "if only" into "I am doing" a great short.

We reproach ourselves for things we think we could have or should have done , but we are not perfect at the end of the day and reproach comes only after time has passed and we look in a different light to what was happening then ...
Emma .... we can't change anything it's gone .. it's in the ether ..

Guess we all think and feel differently: that's our choice. I believe that we can and should learn by our mistakes more than any wagging of finger or attitude of the saints amongst us whilst invisibly slipping down their own ladders! At least, that is how i admit to doing, being.. a mere human who admits to being just that! :)

I think, as with all previous new years, all that will change is the date. With all the best intentions many will greet 2024 determined to do this or tgat, change this or that, sponsor a tiger, save a whale, throw loose change at a down and out but by the middle of January the hum drum and stresses of everyday living will have reduced most to the cynical half glass empty harbingers of doom that lived through 2023 and the many years previous, accepting all that is chucked their way as normal!
These past few months I have been thinking lots about the sadly departed Deb and trying to work out how long is long enough to grieve and when I can close the door on this aching heart and pop her beside my mum in a place that is happy for us both...is that odd?
Anyways enough of my waffling. Here's hoping 2024 is a great, happy, healthy year for you and yours my little cream before jam scone munching marvel :))

I have found a sunny day with a sibling...there had never been one there before.
It has created a song in my heart.

And BOO! Like Scotland in general, we are all waiting for our next sunny day.
Does it feel to you too that the last sunny day we had was way back when, back in the day?
This winter seems to have been going on a bit too long and it can't be, but the memory of my last summers day, I had shorts on and a scraped knee in the picture in my mind! 😊
May 2024 bring you much more of the yummy things, as wealth as more health wealth and happiness, with way less ouchie stuff, like... Well, the stuff that ouchies!
Now remember your Scottish roots tonight dear, erm... English rose and throw open the windows for the bells, to let out the old and bring in the new.
And please be careful if you are having or going to a hootenanny (party) and don't be throwing your back out making shapes on the dance floor, but if you do, I hope you are properly aneathstatize.... Aneathstatise... drunk enough! 😊
