UNTOUCHABLE

How often when you stub a toe or

slip on a soon be brown banana skin

or the last of the milk has curdled or -

kith an' kin turn up at the door

unexpected tired wet or more

when you wanted to rest, calmly?!

untouchable 

Of course point each all eight

to the fire side,  nothing denied

welcomes two a dozen muttered

regrets under the breath uttered 

truth know, due to staying alone

OR up away .. going to the moon

untouchable

Wow this write is deep.in many ways, one day two monk's we're arguing the secrets of life and where to hide it because man wasn't ready. In the ocean no said one because man will swim the mountain no man will climb then the moon no man one day will land. After so much debate they decided to place it in his heart because man will never look within.

The things we all put up with family present and such a large one. The writer has qualms and annoyances about some things happened past, but she still cherishes the family.

But then, in spite of the annoyance, there they are sitting on the sofa, drinking all the beer and wine, making a mess of the chips and dip, and then asking, "What's for supper?" ....er.... wait that's what happened to me. I'm sure you were all nice and lovingly and even under your breath said, "love you, you are family".

yes, would do that after wiping away grouchy face! I can't be cross with family, even my bro Jack two years older!!! Am I a softie, can be but also feisty at times, stubborn, even been called a something mare recently! As to flower on the moon - might try but need research if a possibility! Failing that could press some and frame then and take with me.. scatter and hand wherever I find a wall or few. Thought: are there walls on the moon? Must zzzz, tomorrow cometh in leaps and bounds.. .

a thought-provoking piece. it took me a minute to decide what 'untouchable' means, but i am willing to guess that it's about the things one dares not to do or say. anger is a social taboo and must not be expressed. this might create social harmony to some extent, but it leaves one feeling drained. this does make one wish to 'go to the moon'.

It is hard to dissocialize these days.

Too many knocks on the door...we can't pretend to not be home...

Jacob, you understand.. of course. We can't always choose whose company we have, have to contend with negatives , etc - words that hurt, offend - yet sometimes have to accept because life can't always be what we sometimes 'child-like' thinkers must be 'put down' apparently! BUT I for one will do my thing for as long as I can. Methinks you know that and have for a while.. the teacher in you makes far more sense with the positives, sir!
