She almost always responded to a poem with a poem...a gentle heart, gentle soul and one of my favorite people on this site for as long as I have been here since 2008.
As Peter, Paul and Mary sang..."Where have all the flowers again?"
And yet another flower is gone.

If someone goes missing, surely it doesn't hurt to check if that person is okay.
Really sad to hear this news. Pat will be remembered for her unique nature poetry, in particular her love of our avian friends and flora. She will be sadly missed. RIP dear Pat. 🌹

Another from an earlier site I had known for 15 years, gone too. Still grieving his loss. Beautiful poets passed on, but their legacy remains in the words they leave for us. Such sadness :)

Thank you Em. Jacob has already forwarded the link to me.
She will be sadly missed. Pat was always positive and easily spread positivity and joy with her words and kindness. Always a breath of fresh air who will be missed by so many.

Today, Sunday, have had Roger, her husband, on my mind, wondering how he is. Could maybe find out if I searched, but best not to intrude on him and their family. :(( Perhaps in the close future?

Pat Wedel will be missed. Her poems and her comments were always warm, special, showing just how special a woman she was. She had a deep love of life and a wonderful way, through her words, of sharing that love here at WC.
Thank you Emma, for posting this and for your nice tribute to one of WC's finest poets!
