Good afternoon my friends
Hello from Alabama

Cherrie

May the Christmas wish
for this year come from
Christ Himself, wrapped
in hope-joy and love.

Hello fellow writers, readers, and poets?
I hope y'all are doing well?😊

Following is my stanza for submission:

A sincere eye,
With truth, empathy inside,
The one that ain't
Love or hope devoid,
The one that never,
Holds pride,
A soul that can always be relied
The one that breathes peace,
That shimmers in sparkling delight
...its all that matters
...Its all that matters.

Haven’t here for a while but let’s try to write something again…

In this out of empathy world
Still have trust for a peaceful future
Poetry will save the words
With love and belief

What thoughtful words, Beren - thank you so very much
The world needs empathy;
To harbor love and trust.
We need peace now
So the future doesn't rust.

Wonderfuly put and must be remembered, Hallow.
In a world often crude.
Does peace, love and trust elude?
Perhaps all should embrace,
Empathy in their future.

Poetically finely write and spiritually gently but sincerely intended. Thank you so much, Pete.
The 'good book' says that "On the morning of the third day, God gathered the waters and caused dry land to appear, and the gathered waters he called seas". Then, man threw out some of the inhabitants of the land and blew up fishermen on the seas. Who can we trust if we can't trust our impulses? Find the brightest star in the sky. Follow it.
