Throat

Throat

A Poem by SLOVA
"

Learning to not take things to the heart.

"
Your fire words
As they burn through your throat
And out your mouth
Heat but the surface
But not down to the heart

To go through the world without allowing its meaness to affect you, it is the wisest thing one could do. Words are like poison, but some people don´t seem to care. They just spit them out anyway. Great twenty-two words poem. I like the message it´s sends.

Thank you for your kind words, J.

Hard wisdom to learn. To separate negative words from good. Leaving the negative words outside and good words into the heart. Hard to do. Thank you for sharing the excellent poetry.
