II - RIBBONS.

II - RIBBONS.

A Chapter by Emunah June.

she's only allowed
to be angry in pink.

when her fists are clenched
it is bunched up-ribbon

between fingers and teeth
of gnashed glitter and grief.

they will look,
but they will not listen.

she is fury and
she is fire.

but rage only matters
within a spectrum of jean size.

a scream in black,
and a whisper in green,

mean nothing to a world
who are blind to the canvas.

I love how you used the colors of ribbons and clothing. Color can show the world. We are many things and we can know many emotions. You create vision and thoughts in the outstanding poetry.
