IV - BOWS.

IV - BOWS.

A Chapter by Emunah June.

"i want to be good."

young and full ;
bright eyes
and broad taste.

i felt every break
flood with intent
to be "good."

to the stars, i find my solace
to the world, i find my caution.
heaven honey, teach me, Lord
on how to be "good."

i am desperate
for success ;
i am determined
to bury shedding skin.

in this world,
i am nothing
if i am not
"just a good girl."

Oh Emunah, this poem made me weep for you, made me weep for myself. You give words power…..

Powerful dance of thoughts dear Emunah.
(in this world,
i am nothing
if i am not
"just a good girl.")
I have five grandchildren. I teach them. Never except less. Be who you want to be. Anyone who treat you as nothing. Don't deserve your attention. Powerful and worthwhile poetry. You made the reader think and ponder.
