A small blurb I wrote on my napkin at breakfast.

in the court of here and there,

where every voice shouts the loudest

has anyone stopped to ask

the most important question?

in the question of existence,

is it to be ruled

or is it to be shared?

The question of existence? Mostly, nowdays, we'd better snatch every morsel of life we can, carry a .38 to ward off the ones trying to trespass and squatt that our laws which were founded to protect us, will end up protecting them. Call before you visit because if I feel threatened, I might shoot through the door and drag your dead body inside. We are so gung ho, "Give Me Liberty Or give Me Death!" But there's not one among us who won't give up their freedom for another day of existence. God gave us this INSTINCT to SURVIVE AT ALL COSTS. Look at the freedoms we've already given up."Rage! Rage against the dying of the Light!"

Here is my Christian take, "it is to live! Abundantly! What's to stop us? The world is full of war and woe, earthquakes, floods, death and destruction... as it has ALWAYS been. Our only salvation is to recognize the beauty of creation. Romans 1:20 "For since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature—have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that people are without excuse." I think of those tiny sparks of life, barely visible as they crawl along on their six perfect legs, with knees that function perfectly, whose faceted eyes collect the light so it can decide which way to go... a Miricale greater than galaxies!

If you don't share it then you act like a selfish little despot and try to keep it all for yourself, like an angry petulant child who has no reason and just says "just because" to win an argument... which sounds an awful lot like a certain orange man baby we all know, but I guess nor everything is about Trump, is it? 😃
