Yes, we do fall into the traps we make ourselves and wonder why we got here again.
But life comes with many addictions and some are way more harmful than others. They all have one thing in common though, that no matter the thought it doesn't let you take in the reality of what tomorrow will really look like.
As I am an addict I get it. I love some of the lines: a world tapping cards on glass tables of stardust. Multiple interpretations there! Flying high on spent rent, like that line too. We’ve been here before but we tend to forget, boy I know that one. Good to hear from you Emunah. Well written!
Wow...this is an amazing piece...soft as the clouds...the way you portray this experience...and though it may last for a while, this ephemeral place may only be temporary... and easy to return to when life gets tough...difficult to shake off forever.... thank you for sharing this scene....very meaningful...
Warmly, B
