Sitting on lifes branch,

   Watching natures brutal force,

       Waiting for a break.

Nice movement here. The third line of a haiku is supposed to be at a bit of an "angle" to the preceding two lines, i.i., a comparison, contrast, addition, similar observation, etc--not just a run-on sentence. That occurs here with a stroke of humor.
