This is a powerful poem. It has very strong emotions and makes me think of classical art; renaissance-like.

I don't know if you intended it to be a haiku or not, but if so I would say there are 6 syllables, not 5 in the final line of this piece. Sorry if I'm telling you something you already know. Either way, I really liked this.
