Very well written, you have captured what I was looking for in this contest. You showed what friendship is about on the cafe. Thanks for entering my contest.
The internet is a tool for networking and through it we make business contacts, likeminded hobby enthusiasts, and yes, even romantic dalliances. We can chose how close we allow these people to come, which is a great advantage of this medium. We can limit our information, take time to respond with the right words, even ignore and block them if we grow tired of them. I've made some good friends off the internet and some great contacts to further my arts, but I have also picked up some stalkers and liars along the way too. The friends remain, the dogs have disappeared- as have I to them.
Faceless?
I guess my razor must be cutting to deep
At least we faceless friends, can't be blamed for being two faced LOL
I enjoyed this write
Thanks for sharing

You are absolutely correct! Oh, how this poem brings back memories of some wonderful people I once knew on the web... The wonderful communities that have come and gone and the people who were my friends there, who carried me through both dark and light-hearted moments. Our faceless companions.
