nearly gone.

nearly gone.

A Poem by emz

We ran through

the field today

and saw blackberries

how crazy for

the summer

we ate them

ripe and sweet

how sad

the mice will die

then the owls

will suffer

come Autumn

penatration

of man

death of the world

not long now

so glad i have seen

the butterfly

the bee

so glad

the grasses were green

so glad

the mountains were ice-capped

so glad

we have seen

the world

for it will be never standing

today..

in its glory

in its majesty..

as it was

yesterday.

WOW! Such lovely words here, this is a very well written write here, i like this alot. Memories you just can't replace them even if they leave a scar. Some are painful and some are wonderful, Brillant write....Kim

I am not so sure that nature will survive the brutality of man. We have already done much damage to this world we were given to protect and cherish. Loved this write.

I hope you are having a wonderful Saturday.

Blessings,
Lesa

Ahhh yes memories are made up of good and bad so the key to happiness in the future is to focus on the happier times... so eloquently written my friend.
