i lie here so still
on the cold hard ground
has no one found me?
has no one cared?
that the demons you've only read of
have taken over my soul

i lie here motionless
as i hear footsteps approaching
a young girl holding a doll
slowly walks up and screams
but i am the only one seeing
the only one hearing
the only one caring

i lie here so still
as i see the girl run
but i cannot run away
from my troubles that haunt me

for i am the girl
who tried to save herself
but no one can hear
or see or care
that inside
i am just a girl
who has a broken soul
