If I believed in god I‘d pray to him hard
Id ask him to make me not feel so sad

I’d ask him to turn the clock back a while
Just enough to go that extra mile

I’d keep you close and say the right things
Laugh at your jokes not mock when you sing

I wouldn’t belittle you in front of your friends
Mess with your head or play silly games

Learn not to question when you sorted things out
I would trust you wholly without a doubt

I’d face you each day without a frown
Try very hard not to let you down

I’d appreciate all the things that you done
Be calm with my life and have some fun

Alas all this is far to late
For time is something that just wont wait

I realise now that life is so short
We must love and cherish al that we’ve got

As you put it soooo well....IF ONLY. We,ve all felt what you,ve desribed so well, at one time or other. Such is life....good thing we can all share these feelings to help with the unburdening. Sweet !!
