Tables & Bums

Tables & Bums

A Poem by e.renoldi

People are happy?

So group them together- the bums I mean. A bummed happy group.

I’m bummed. We should always keep a song about love ok?

You visit my family- I admire that, that’s all. We always give?

Anything we want to receive: cash & cats?

I mean, he understands issues, good and bad- mostly bad.  But bad is good I hope?

I hope because I don’t know anyone else.

Next thing you know, they’re changing tables.

They’re charging you for blame; I forgot to leave a tip.

And before you know it, it’s your anniversary and you’re bummed all alone at the

table.
